Unlock the 60 meters band on ICOM IC-7610

If your IC-7610 is not able to transmit on the 60 meters HAM band (5.3 MHz) you may need to make a slight modification as follow:
Opening the radio:
- No need to remove the top cover panel.
- Turn the radio upside / down.
- Remove 6 bottom screws + the 4 side screws of the bottom cover.
- Slightly release the 2 screws of the side handle.
- Remove the bottom cover to access the printed circuit.
- Locate the tiny diodes pad as shown in the under picture.

Operation:
First, make a copy of the radio settings on a SD card or USB flash drive.
The operation is very delicate it must be done very conscientiously. This is done at your own risks.
Only do it if you are sure of yourself. Carefully remove the diode indicated by the red rectangle.
This modification consists in cutting or de soldering the tiny diode. It may void the radio warranty.

At the end:
- Replace the bottom cover.
- You need to RESET the radio to make the modification effective.
- Reload your saved settings from the SD card or flash drive.
